The Belk College of Business invites alumni, graduate students and business community friends to enjoy coffee and a professional development session on charismatic leadership facilitated by Drs. Janaki Gooty and George Banks.   We'll enjoy time for both networking and a complimentary sampling of the upcoming UNC Charlotte Executive Education program on charismatic leadership. Anyone can be learn and express charisma through specific leadership behaviors. During this session, participants will learn why charisma is such an important leadership trait and receive tips drawn from cutting edge, scientific evidence to develop their own charisma.

About the Instructors:  

 Dr. George Banks and Dr. Janaki Gooty are associate professors in the Department of Management in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte. They are preeminent leadership scholars in topics ranging from developing relationships and managing emotions to authentic, ethical, and charismatic leadership styles. They both have emerging research in the area of leadership and diversity, including the study of gender and leadership, cross-cultural leadership, leading refugees as well as leadership in a virtual setting.
