Program Overview

The Charlotte MBA program offers an outstanding educational experience for aspiring managers and leaders. With a comprehensive course format, distinguished resident faculty, and ability to specialize in a variety of business administration domains, our Charlotte MBA program offers a top-quality graduate education in one of the most dynamic business climates in the United States.

More than 50 years ago, UNC Charlotte launched the first graduate program in the region for working business professionals. Today, Belk College’s nationally ranked part-time MBA has more than 4,200 alumni. The Belk College’s oldest and largest graduate program, the Charlotte MBA has continued to grow to serve the Charlotte region and beyond.

PROGRAM Outline

The Charlotte MBA program is comprised of 36 graduate credit hours: a core curriculum that immerses students in critical areas like finance, marketing, management, and operations (24 hours) and a concentration or elective courses (12 hours). With many concentrations available, you can customize your MBA to accomplish your career goals.

Flexibility

The Charlotte MBA program is designed to meet your individual needs. Belk College of Business offers the flexibility to complete your degree full-time or part-time. On average, full-time MBA students complete the program in two years and part-time students in three years. The program is exclusively offered through evening courses that are conveniently offered at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City, located in Uptown Charlotte. Classes are held year-round, during two 15-week semesters (fall and spring) and two 5-week summer sessions.
